Understand I am not Anti-American to the Contrary
I am very Pro American, Very pro Police.
What I am against is Abusive Government,
Police Force's that are driven by Power
Instead of By:
Service to the People & Common Sense.
Where as the Government makes laws that Deify “Common Sense”, I say “Change It”
As you read this please keep in mind I went to the Police Academy locally at IRCC. In fact I was class leader of Law Enforcement # 43 and still have the guide arm, the unit presented me at there graduation, however while riding and responding to a call with the Sebastian Police Dept. Our patrol car was involved in an auto accident in which I was severely injured and unable to complete my Academy training. So I do have a little back ground from which to speak.
My first introduction to Law Enforcement was, by a field training Officer on a Friday midnight shift quoting now! "
"It’s Friday night we get some bar calls now and then, So when I get a unruly drunk I ball up a napkin in my hand and while he is jabbering and know one is looking, I throw it at his face, He flinches and I arrest him for resisting a Law Enforcement Officer."
Look they are no longer kindly police officers; they are Enforcers of the Law!
Not all police officers but some and just one bully is Enough to Scare the school Kids
Let us look at just one local law today the open container law. A law, that is, on every cities books and why? Just what is the intent of this law to deter drunk and disorderly conduct in public? Wait! Don’t we have drunk and disorderly laws already on the books to handle the few people who don't have the ability to use their own common sense. Are you telling me, that the majority of good citizen of Fellsmere and other cities don't have the ability to have a drink and maintain there composer. This is actually what this law is saying!
By law if you are at your home and decide to walk to your neighbors, 2 blocks over with an open container you can be arrested.
You can be at the beach enjoying the sun with a beer and you’re violating The Law.
You can be at a City Fair where they are selling beer, but unless you drink it in a designated area you are breaking The Law. Bloody Ridiculous!

Now Just who wrote the Law and why?
For The Money, the Power, the Control?
No Never! Wouldn't happen, Not here in America the Land of The Free!
I didn't vote for this Law, did you?
Please, just take time and go sit in your Local County Courthouse. There are Judges legislating from the bench.
Prosecutor's offering plea deal relying on your fear of the System. Just pay the Fine or Probation
ca Ch'ing $, ca Ch'ing $, Ca Ch'ing $
And you wonder why you can't get ahead!
It's because the Government is your pocket at every turn!
It’s Time to Rise up & Get Involved!
Why do I bring this up? Well it is simple. I was at a fair in the small town of Fellsmere Florida at their annual Frog leg festival. I arrived at approximately 7:00pm. I purchased one beer and decided to see the fair out side the ball park (the “designated” drinking area). I was walking minding my own business with a plastic cup in my hand. I was approached by Fellsmere police an Officer Quinn. I remind you that I was just relaxing and enjoying the festival. Officer Quinn Begins to tell me I have to go back to the “designated” drinking area. My response to him, in a very calm polite manner was, look officer I am minding my own business enjoying the fair relaxing. I explained my position to him and expressed my opinion which he did not take kindly to. I told this office this is a free county. All I am doing with him is, exercising my free speech and calmly talking to him in a Very polite manner. However Officer Quinn, he does not like me questioning his Authority, especially when, I ask him why he felt the need to approach a Citizen calmly enjoying the fair anyway.
I then calmly ask him while taking a sip of my beer which ordinance I am violating and what the public danger was. I mean that was the intent of the Law to safe guard the Public? Or was it to Control the Public, give the Police Unnecessary Power and have yet another way to take Money out of your pocket.
So anyway know he calls over a Sgt. Acevedo, Who proceeds to explain to me and who has no less of an Enforcer attitude than officer Quinn Has that I have to be in the “designated” Drinking area.
I go on to explained to him in the same calm cool polite manner as I did to Enforcer Quinn, still sipping my beer that I was enjoying the festival and then I add that (in a non-sarcastic way), the point was moot as my beer was finished and I would not be buying another one. I had no attitude and even if I did, having an attitude is not a crime. As I turned to leave, I am being thrown to the ground head smashed into the concrete, causing a golf ball size lump and bruise and being told I am being placed under arrest for an open container violation and disorderly conduct. Mind you now, It was not until my Constitutional Rights were being Violated as I was being thrown to the ground, that I did get loud and use abusive language. I was handcuffed Knee’s in my back like a fleeing felon on Cops.
Now if that was bad enough, now I am placed in the back of a patrol car for over an hour. I am in the back of the car trying to get an officer’s attention still in a calm state of mind. I am requesting to talk to a supervisor. all the while I am having flashlights shined in my face while the officer’s talk to each other and some girls at the fair. I felt like an animal in a cage.
It is at this time I realize my cell phone is in my pocket so I maneuver, to get it out and call my Lawyer’s office, but I call I get a recording. So I decide to call 911 As I felt my Constitutional Rights were being violated. Oh and Wait! What ever happen to Our Miranda Rights I was never reed My Rights as I was told and I had to ask about them. Was that I was not being interrogated, so they did not have to read me my rights. (Oh I hope the 911 call was preserved)
But Wait! I thought you were read your rights when you were arrested and questioned NOT ANYMORE! Yet another Falsehood! Oh and No Free Call either, you have to call someone collect. That is if that feature is not turned off by the person you are calling.
Anyway back to the truth. So now I call 911 and talked with the Sheriff’s office, I am sure to get justice from them Right. Wrong! I asked the 911 operator to have a Shift Supervisor to come to meet with me. Well Fellsmere police were alerted by the Sheriff dept I had a cell phone and no supervisor ever came. But I was, taken out of the car thrown over the Trunk searched holding the phone the whole time in my hand. Telling them wanted to call my lawyer. me Holding the phone in my handcuffed, behind my back hands, all the while another officer was kneeing me in the leg, just above my knee, trying to get me to release my phone. Ooh and he knew just where to knee me as not to leave a bruise. I wonder if the 911 tape will be around for my trial.
The whole incident was outrageous!

This is happening all over in cities and towns just like yours!
I was in Army prior to going to the police Academy and I must say their conduct was unbecoming any officer in uniform.
The Fellsmere police officers except for one and he said nothing, (fraternity Brother)They acted like High School bullies at a party.
Now as for Police Chief Scott Melanson He's no better. When I went to him, explained what happened and asked to have to have the charges dropped and to talk with the officer involved. He said he is not correct going to correct his officer's because as it would usurp their authority.
Like they don't have enough!
Where is the Leadership” Chief?
You already had two Officer' recently forced out for inappropriate Behavior!

Maybe you should consider holding some continuing Education Classes for your Department.
How About Just A little Justice and some Conmen Sense Policing!
Frankly just whose liberties are we violating anyway, calmly walking with a cup or bottle in hand? As for our illustrious City Council When I went before them they sat there offering no comment. Justice they would not know it if the scales of Justice just fell on there head.
Grant you there are people who get out of hand when drinking now and then but, isn’t that why we have drunk and disorderly Laws and the police.
Just when did the abuses’ of the few out weight the Liberties of the many?
Hell When Otis got drunk, Andy put him in jail. The town did not pass a law saying you can’t drink unless you’re in a “designated” area.
Some People say the law is the law, well with that kind of mentality We the People, of the
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA would still be under British Rule.
After all the law is the law right, don’t Question It! Just Sit Back, they have our best interest at hart right, SURE Just Leave the broken jar of honey on the floor hell the bugs will eat it all anyway! RIGHT?

We are all familiar with the next two excerpts from our school days however I think we best review Just how and why became a free nation and just what our Founding Fathers Intent Was.

PERHAPS the sentiments contained in the following pages, are not yet sufficiently fashionable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom. But tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason.
As a long and violent abuse of power is generally the means of calling the right of it in question, (and in matters too which might never have been thought of, had not the sufferers been aggravated into the inquiry,) and as the king of England hath undertaken in his own right, to support the parliament in what he calls theirs, and as the good people of this country are grievously oppressed by the combination, they have an undoubted privilege to inquire into the pretensions of both, and equally to reject the usurpations of either.
Thomas Paine’s Common Sense Continued:
In the following sheets, the author hath studiously avoided every thing which is personal among ourselves. Compliments as well as censure to individuals make no part thereof. The wise and the worthy need not the triumph of a pamphlet; and those whose sentiments are injudicious or unfriendly, will cease of themselves, unless too much pains is bestowed upon their conversion.
The cause of America is, in a great measure, the cause of all mankind. Many circumstances have, and will arise, which are not local, but universal, and through which the principles of all lovers of mankind are affected, and in the event of which, their affections are interested. The laying a country desolate with fire and sword, declaring war against the natural rights of all mankind, and extirpating the defenders thereof from the face of the earth, is the concern of every man to whom nature hath given the power of feeling; of which class, regardless of party censure, is

My Words
Now when reading this last page let us take out the words The English Constitution and substitute, Some Laws of the United States Government, Local, State and Federal. Remembering, some of the most complex as well as the most ridiculous Laws (Including tax laws). Laws that take away Our Individual Rights, Liberties and abilities to use our God Given Rights Constitutional Rights & Common Sense.
Thomas Paine’s Common Sense Continued:
I draw my idea of the form of government from a principle in nature, which no art can overturn, viz., that the more simple any thing is, the less liable it is to be disordered, and the easier repaired when disordered; and with this maxim in view, I offer a few remarks on the so much boasted constitution of England. That it was noble for the dark and slavish times in which it was erected is granted. When the world was overrun with tyranny the least there from was a glorious rescue. But that it is imperfect, subject to convulsions, and incapable of producing what it seems to promise, is easily demonstrated. Absolute governments (though the disgrace of human nature) have this advantage with them, that they are simple; if the people suffer, they know the head from which their suffering springs, know likewise the remedy, and are not bewildered by a variety of causes and cures. But the constitution of England is so exceedingly complex, that the nation may suffer for years together without being able to discover in which part the fault lies, some will say in one and some in another, and every political physician will advise a different medicine.
